THANK YOU for Giving!

This year's Thanksgiving has been more special then ever, having so much to be thankful for. It was the toughest and most challenging year, but also the most extraordinary year. I'm thankful that my parents and my favorite aunt from LA are here to celebrate this holiday, and I'm most thankful that I got to experience a new life with Chloe. Anything and everything is amazing and fascinating in her curious eyes. I am most grateful for this 'gift from God'.

We spent the late afternoon in our back yard where the leaves are just enticingly beautiful.

First STEP

This is HUGE. Chloe took her first steps for the first time today. She walked SIX whole steps! All of her grandparents and Andrew were there to witness it. It was as if she waited for all of us to be there to put on a show. Well, except for me...I was at work. Darn it! However I'm very happy Andrew was there to see it in person. He was always disappointed having to miss few of her milestones but this one really made up for all of them!
Today is exactly one month before her first birthday. :)

Dear Heavenly Father

Since Chloe was born, I have felt emotions I have never quite felt before. Such simple gestures from her can stir my heart like no other. Today she put her hands together as if she was about to pray when her grandmother said "Heavenly Father..." while looking out the window unintentionally. With excitement, my mom called everyone to witness this moment and Chloe did it over and over again whenever we said, 'Heavenly Father'. At that moment, I got teary eyed and felt such...joy. I want Chloe to know God and love Him more than anything in this world and I felt like she took the first step towards that. One of the many things I'm thankful to my parents is the fact that they made Christianity and faith in God our priority in life. They helped me to know the Truth and love God since our childhood, which led us to accept Christianity so naturally since a young age. I believe that's priceless.

This parenting is bringing different light to my walk with the Lord. More and more, I'm realizing that my such simple realization can also bring delight into His heart as well. I'm pretty sure that My Heavenly Father was as pleased looking down at me for being so ecstatic about Chloe's simple gesture as it was mine.

One for You, One for Me

My mom taught Chloe to share her food, but Chloe likes to ration. The first one she keeps, second one she gives to grandma, the third she keeps, the fourth she gives to Andrew and so on... Sometimes when we ask for one, she pretends to give us one, but then she takes it straight back to her mouth and eats it. How clever is that? ;)

Nursery Buddy

Super cute! Hannah and Chloe already have common interests. Thanks Soo-Jin for taking care of our girls! It's always party time with Soo-Jin. :)

(U)nexpected (B)aby (S)urprise visit

I had a meeting in the city office this morning so I brought Chloe with me to New York today. She enjoyed the stoller ride with my parents at Bloomingdale's, while I was at work. Afterwards, we suprised Andrew by visiting him at his work. Chloe doesn't usually get to see him very much during the week, so it was a very pleasant and happy rendezvous for both of them. Chloe got to meet his boss and asked him to send daddy home early today. No wait...that was me. :)
